From November 28 until December 4, 2016, Nouveau Musée National de Monaco participates in the second edition of OVNi (Objectif Vidéo Nice), festival d’art vidéoorganised by Hôtel Windsor in Nice by presenting Sans titre, Sang titre, Cent titres by Bruno Pelassy.

Pelassy's film consists in found footages on multi-stndard vhs tapes. It is also shown via a vhs tape ; the same one being viewed serveral times, the images little by little flicker and disappear; the vhs readers slip, look for the image, instants of black, find it again, go back oand forth from blakc and white to color, colors change...

Bruno Pelassy was born in 1966 in Vientiane, Laos and died in 2006 in Nice.
After studying textile and jeweler's craft, Bruno Pelassy initiates an artistic practice at the begininng of the 90's, a period of time marked by the trauma caused by the HIV virus.
Very soon affected by the scourge, he has explored and displayed an ambivalent poetry of life and death through the use of staged metaphors and figures, a play on multiple techniques allowing a personal experience to appear in a sensible and formal way. The sketch stands alongside the meticulous work of glass and cristal, the creation of jewelery and reliquaries. Though the work seems dark in many ways, it is also sensible and clear-sighted, romantic and bright.
