The Nouveau Musée National de Monaco is offering 3 sessions of workshops for children in connection with the exhibition “Pier Paolo Calzolari – Casa ideale”.
For the first time, the museum and the Rencontres Philosophiques Monaco are teaming up to give children the chance to combine artistic and philosophical reflection in two two-day “Art & Philo” workshops.

Organized by the Nouveau Musée National de Monaco and the Rencontres Philosophiques de Monaco.
Over two afternoons, children will discover the works of Pier Paolo Calzolari with cultural coordinator Coline Matarazzo, then discuss the philosophical questions they raise with Alicia Polzella Gauduel, practicing philosopher and philosophy workshop animator.

Ages 6 -9
Arte Povera artists created numerous works using simple materials such as plants, fabrics and stones. Pier Paolo Calzolari, for his part, works in lead, fleece and salt.
During this workshop, children will discover the works in the exhibition and then explore the reactions between paint and salt, observing the effects and composing a nightscape in the company of Sharon Jones, cultural coordinator.
