As Marc Jeanson was unable to attend on the day of the conference, it was led solely by Laurent Le Bon.
Laurent Le Bon and Marc Jeanson, co-curators of the “Gardens” exhibition at the Grand Palais in 2017 and the “CACTUS” exhibition currently on display at the Villa Sauber, will draw on their diverse experiences of exhibiting gardens in museum spaces to highlight the challenges, limitations, and contradictions involved.
Laurent Le Bon, general curator of heritage, was in charge of public commissions at the Ministry of Culture and Communication’s Delegation for the Visual Arts and then, from 2000 to 2010, curator at the Musée National d’Art Moderne, Centre Pompidou.
