In this film, whose narrative structure plays on the confusion between reality and illusion, a man persists in convincing a woman that they had an affair last year in the grand, sumptuous hotel where the story takes place. Screenplay by Alain Robbe-Grillet, costumes by Gabrielle Chanel.
