Michel Paysant
NMNMNM (le nano musée du NMNM), 2012
Collection NMNM, n°2012.12.1

Michel Paysant  will talk about his nanoscopic works – one of which he produced especially for the exhibition MONACOPOLIS – as well as about his “eye drawing” project in collaboration with Jean Lorenceau, researcher at CNRS at Centre de Recherche de l’Institut du cerveau et de la moelle épinière, who developped an apparatus allowing to draw and write thanks to eye movement.

Michel Paysant is an artist specialised in research projects and collaborations between art and science. Skilful artist, passionated about sculpture and drawings, he takes interest in collaborative practices in art and has been creating for many years now installations conceived as fluid or polymorphous apparatuses in which he establishes links between art, arts and crafts, science, techniques and new technologies (the inventarium series, the Eye drawing project, Nusquam, …).
